The new-look BCN

The new edition of bi magazine BCN has just hit the streets. It’s the first time BCN has had a full-colour cover, after more than a decade of publishing in black-and-white.

While features include an interview with writer / actress Sarah Evans, the story behind the first Birmingham BiFest, and tales of the Bi Cymru-Wales Christmas Cake-off, it’s that new colourful look that will attract the most attention.

Bi Community News Editor Jen told BiMedia.org, “We’ve been working towards this for a while, trying to make the numbers work. As a community press and not-for-profit title we had to be sure that subscription sales could cover the extra costs of the change, but I feel it’s a worthwhile move for a much more appealing look.”

The change comes just ahead of issue 100 of the magazine – something of a landmark of longevity as a title. Subscribe now to make sure you get #100.
