Bi Visibility Day will be given a massive splash on Twitter this year with a pair of “Thunderclap” tweets. If you’re on twitter why not sign up for both?
An initiative of the Bi Visibility Day website, it is a co-ordinated tweet with lots of Twitter users joining in to all post the same message at the same time on the morning of Monday 23rd September in the UK & EU, and then again later in the day timed for twitterers in the USA and other parts of the Americas.

BCN reports on this week’s bisexual meetups around the UK, including Blackpool LGBT Pride, here.
It’s Volunteers’ Week – starting today, hundreds of events will be taking place across the country to say thank you to volunteers, recognising the important contribution they make.
Almost all the bi community events, groups and support depend wholly on volunteer effort – how about taking this week as a prompt to say thanks to the people who make them happen.
Tweet, talk about it on facebook, drop them a card in the post, donate to their project, make them a cuppa…
Or maybe now’s the time to become a bi volunteer yourself?
BCN magazine has a feature with lots of ideas of ways you can get involved in bi volunteering – whether you have ten minutes to spare just now, a day every week, or anything in between.
Bring & share!
Big Bi Fun Day returns to Leicester this Saturday. The annual bis-and-allies afternoon has run each May for several years now and is a family-friendly social space.
If you would like to bring food to share, that would be appreciated (but is not obligatory). If you do bring food to share, please make sure it is fully labelled with all ingredients as there may be people with food allergies.
Unlike some bi events and local meetups there are no organised discussion sessions, so if you are looking for support around being bisexual you may want to find a group near you.
It is free to attend (though donations to cover the costs of venue hire, tea, coffee and so on are strongly encouraged)
Big Bi Fun Day will be held in Leicester at the Friends Meeting House, 16 Queens Road, LE2 1WP this Saturday (16th May), 1pm to 5pm.
