Largest UK survey of its kind finds bisexual women more likely to self-harm, have eating problems and feel depressed.

The venue for the year’s biggest bi festival has been announced. BiCon 2015 will be in Nottingham at the University Park Campus. A few weeks ago the dates for were announced as August 13th – 16th.

The ShoutOut radio show LGBT Awards for 2015 see a welcome return of the bisexual category this year!
The awards’ Best Bi Event category sees three events shortlisted by listeners – Good Bi Summer, BiCon and BiFest Wales. Good Bi Summer was the Bristol event to celebrate Bi Visibility Day last September.
In the Best LGBT Social/Networking Group category, BiVisible Bristol is one of four groups shortlisted alongside UWE Bristol, Indigo and Members.
Meanwhile for Best LGBT Support Group, BiPhoria made the list up against the Terrence Higgins Trust, GayWest, LGBT Health Forum, and Freedom Youth

The Government Equalities Office – the bit of the government and the civil service that work on equalities issues – is holding a public meeting on January 23rd in Bristol. The meeting will talk about bisexual, trans and lesbian women’s needs.
