Today’s Bi Visibility Day, but tomorrow there’ll be visible bisexuals at East London Pride, which is this Saturday.
They say: “Come and say hello, outside Oxford House. We may have stickers! We may have books!”
“And there’s a march and a Pride event, as well, of course!”
Find out more about the event on http://www.eastlondonpride.org.uk/
Manchester bi group BiPhoria will be taking their bi banners on the road again this weekend as they head down the M62 for Saturday’s Liverpool Pride. Why not join them?
They’ll be gathering around 11.30am at St Georges Plateau, by Lime Street station. If you can’t find them by looking for the pink, purple and blue bi banner or the purple brollies, call them on 07941 811 124 or ask a parade steward to point you towards entry number 5.
The march ends out at the city waterfront, and there’s a host of stalls and fun at the end of the parade in the Pride festival. It’s the second Liverpool LGBT Pride festival: last year, over 3,000 people took part in the first, so we bet it’ll be busy!
Oldham Pride this Saturday will have a bi banner being wafted on parade, and a bi stall – outdoors if the weather is fine, indoors if it isn’t! The most local bisexual group is BiPhoria from down the road in Manchester and they’ll be rolling out the purple to give Oldham’s seventh LGBT Pride day its “B”.
Pop along and say hi! More info on the facebook event.
The LGBT Pride march in London this weekend will have a bi walking group!
On Saturday July 2nd, meet up on Portland Place any time between 12 and 1pm. At BiMedia, we hope to have full details of the meetup point soon, but generally our advice is: look for the big pink, purple and blue bi banner…
Bi Scotland will be on the Pride Scotia march on Saturday – if you want to join them, please come to the assembly point at East Market Street between 12 noon and 1pm and look for the “Bisexuals!” banner (and purple umbrellas!). Phone 0796 396 0321 if you are lost or can’t find the group.
This year the Health & Community Fair is in the Omni Centre – BiCon 2011 will be there, so please come and say hello and maybe help out at their stall.
