It’s Manchester Pride weekend – the biggest Pride in our region.
We’re delighted for the first time we’ve got a banner up facing Canal Street – at the end near to Piccadilly train station.
As we have spent thirty years now putting the B into Manchester LGBT Pride and our wider community and challenging bisexual erasure, it’s a reminder that the B is right there in the name of so many LGBT projects and groups… and should not be silent.
It is a vintage banner from our collection, best known for being one of the two that led the Manchester march in solidarity with LGBT athletes in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.
