2025’s Pride season has kicked off and while Trafford Pride was last week it’s a uniquely shaped series of events rather than a conventional march and/or festival. So our first proper “going to Pride” of the year was at Whalley Range. It’s a lovely community pride with a few hundred people and a march along side streets (which one of us dubbed a “queer tour of the local potholes”). Our new 2025 placards got their first airing and half a dozen of us had a grand afternoon out. Thanks Pride on the Range team!
