Bi Visibility Day site relaunches

Bi Visibility Website
New look September 23 site
September23.bi.org, the website which started more than a decade ago to record UK events to mark the date now includes information about events elsewhere in the world too.  The site has had a major makeover to gel better with social media sites like Facebook and Twitter - and look a little less 1999. It now aims to both record past and upcoming events to mark 23rd September each year, and to host and signpost resources and information useful to people doing bi visibility work both on the Day and all year round. The site is jointly hosted between bi web hub Bi.Org and UK bisexual magazine Bi Community News.

Bi Academic Makeover

bi questions
What to researchers think - and what are they asking?
BiUK, the UK's national organisation for bisexual research and activism, has given its website a big revamp. From being a simple site about the organisation, it's now a powerful hub for information about theory and research - from news about BiUK, through guidelines and advice for researchers, to extensive links to other bi and research resources. Take a look and find out more about bis and academia here.

BiBloggers

We're delighted to report that BiBloggers, the new blog syndication site for people in the UK writing about bisexuality, is now live on bimedia.org/blogs After some debate the site will focus on UK bi bloggers, to try and help foster a sense of blogging community here. An international blog aggregator would be welcome but might easily be swamped by the louder voices of one or two countries with a much larger bi blogging presence. There are already more than half-a-dozen writers signed for up BiBloggers, but additional bloggers would be most welcome!

Calling bi bloggers

Do you blog about being bisexual, bisexuality, bi issues or bi representation? Following a workshop at this year’s BiCon, there are plans to create a common forum (or "aggregator") for bloggers writing about bi issues; while we know of a few bisexuality bloggers (Sue George, or Jen Yockney, for instance) we’d love to find more, so if you’re interested, get in touch with newsdesk [at] bimedia.org – remember to include a link to your blog in your email! Most blogging sites also let you take feeds based on post tags - so if most of your blog is about other things but there are bi posts that you tag as such, don't feel you can't join in too.

US gets new bi news & entertainment hub

A new entertainment, social and news website for bis in the USA launched last month. Bi Social News say their site is "the first interactive bisexual Blog for today’s bisexual. Find all the latest information on social, entertainment and political scenes.
