{"id":2407,"date":"2015-02-05T00:00:57","date_gmt":"2015-02-05T00:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bisexualblogs.wordpress.com\/?p=70"},"modified":"2015-02-05T00:00:57","modified_gmt":"2015-02-05T00:00:57","slug":"big-bi-dreams-for-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bimedia.org\/blogs\/2015\/02\/big-bi-dreams-for-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"Big Bi Dreams for 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Here&#8217;s what I&#8217;d like to make happen in 2015:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Print off and distribute leaflets advertising Nottingham BiTopia.<\/li>\n<li>Organise\u00a0at least 3 <a href=\"https:\/\/nottinghambi.wordpress.com\/category\/bitalkia\/\" >BiTalkia <\/a>events.<\/li>\n<li>Get this blog featured on <a href=\"http:\/\/bimedia.org\/blogs\/\" >Bi Bloggers<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Find a way to raise funds for the group to do things like pay for stalls at Nottinghamshire Pride and the cost of hiring a room for BiTalkia.<\/li>\n<li>March in Nottinghamshire Pride again this summer, and maybe run a stall.<\/li>\n<li>March in Manchester Pride again.<\/li>\n<li>Have some kind of presence at Leicester and Derby Pride.<\/li>\n<li>Go to The Big Bi Fun day in Leicester.<\/li>\n<li>Set up some kind of quiet-cup-of-tea-more-chilled-out social to cater for people the pub social (unintentionally!) excludes. I feel like I&#8217;m currently letting those people down by not holding an event that meets\u00a0their access requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Get a map of the UK and mark down where bi events happen.<br \/>\nWork on finding a way to set up some kind of bi event in the least purple areas!<\/li>\n<li>Write a code of conduct\/anti harassment policy for the meet ups.<\/li>\n<li>Learn more about how to do more to include more BME people.<\/li>\n<li>Run a &#8216;bi group runners&#8217; and &#8216;So, you want to set up a new bi group?&#8217; workshop at BiCon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>and last but not least&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Have a rest!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/feeds.wordpress.com\/1.0\/gocomments\/bisexualblogs.wordpress.com\/70\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/feeds.wordpress.com\/1.0\/comments\/bisexualblogs.wordpress.com\/70\/\" \/><\/a> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/pixel.wp.com\/b.gif?host=bisexualblogs.wordpress.com&#038;blog=83147982&#038;%23038;post=70&#038;%23038;subd=bisexualblogs&#038;%23038;ref=&#038;%23038;feed=1\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here&rsquo;s what I&rsquo;d like to make happen in 2015: Print off and distribute leaflets advertising Nottingham BiTopia.
