It appears to be a nealogism. I&#8217;d like to see it adopted into the language. To me, a cad is someone a bit devil-may-care. The type of man who wears a cravat, and has a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.devonautographs.com\/store\/catalog\/images\/AnthonyAinleysigneda.jpg\">Beard of Evil <sup><small>TM<\/small><\/sup><\/a>; he drives a classic Jag, and never, EVER puts ice in his single malt whisky. He&#8217;s not evil, exactly, but he doesn&#8217;t have traditional morals.
