{"id":3177,"date":"2016-02-14T18:22:54","date_gmt":"2016-02-14T18:22:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/j-applebee.tumblr.com\/post\/139305060128"},"modified":"2016-02-14T18:22:54","modified_gmt":"2016-02-14T18:22:54","slug":"below-is-my-letter-to-schools-out-over-the-lack-of-bisexual","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bimedia.org\/blogs\/2016\/02\/below-is-my-letter-to-schools-out-over-the-lack-of-bisexual\/","title":{"rendered":"Below is my letter to School\u2019s Out over the lack of bisexual&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/36.media.tumblr.com\/44b8fb7f3445e41908295cc4440a8dfa\/tumblr_o2al8iUGN31qd3j1wo1_500.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Below is my letter to School\u2019s Out over the lack of bisexual inclusion in their official program:<\/p>\n<p>I read through your magazine that accompanies LGBT history month. \u00a0Apart from the pictures of David Bowie, I couldn\u2019t find anything that was specifically bisexual. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I was invited to take part in the LGBT History Month event in Bristol on 20th February, after being told by someone else involved, that there wasn\u2019t a single bisexual session in it. \u00a0They realised at the last minute that they needed a bisexual speaker to be there.<\/p>\n<p>I was contacted by someone who attended the launch of LGBT History Month \u00a0last weekend in London. \u00a0They told me there wasn\u2019t any bisexual content or speakers at the event.<\/p>\n<p>These are just 3 examples of the lack of bisexuality in LGBT History Month. \u00a0I realise that we bisexuals have to put ourselves forward, but if we are never asked to participate, then how can we?
