This is a lovely venue which is fully wheelchair accessible.\u00a0 The panel will take questions <em>either<\/em> from the audience, <em>or<\/em> in advance, on anything to do with bisexuality and bi communities.\u00a0 The panel will only be for an hour or so, and there will be time to chat as well.\u00a0 All bi-friendly people are welcome &#8211; you don&#8217;t have to be bi yourself.<\/p>\n<p>Save the date!<\/p>\n<p>More details to come!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>We would love to hear from people who&#8217;d like to contribute and be part of this<\/strong>, in a little way or a big way, public or behind the scenes.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some possible ways you could take part:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Help to set up for the mini-fest, or just come and watch and be a supportive presence.<\/li>\n<li>Bring rainbow, bi or pan flags to decorate Speakers&#8217; Corner or the evening venue.<\/li>\n<li>At the mini-fest, share some thoughts about bisexuality or related things, or read a poem or sing a song.<\/li>\n<li>Give out flyers in a friendly way to passers-by.<\/li>\n<li>Help to set up the room for the evening, e.g. move chairs &amp; tables, hang up flags.<\/li>\n<li>Make tea or coffee.<\/li>\n<li>Chip in some money to help pay for the room.\u00a0 We&#8217;ll ask everyone to put in something, from say 10p if you&#8217;re skint to maybe \u00a310 if you&#8217;re well-off and want to support future similar events.<\/li>\n<li>Offer to shop for tea, coffee, milk etc.<\/li>\n<li>Bring cake or snacks.<\/li>\n<li>Help to welcome newcomers \/ be friendly to everyone.<\/li>\n<li>Offer to be on the panel (though we won&#8217;t say yes to everyone for that, e.g. we don&#8217;t want it to be 100% white people).<\/li>\n<li>Ask a question for the panel (on the spot, or in writing).<\/li>\n<li>Help to clear up at the end, e.g. washing-up or moving chairs and tables.<\/li>\n<li>Something else!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to get in touch if you want to contribute, or find out more<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you fancy contributing to the <strong>outdoor<\/strong> event or the evening <strong>panel<\/strong>, you can email jennifer at uncharted hyphen worlds dot org.<\/p>\n<p>If you fancy contributing in other ways to the <strong>evening<\/strong> event, you can email nottinghambitopia at gmail dot com.<\/p>\n<p>Or email both addresses <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s0.wp.com\/wp-content\/mu-plugins\/wpcom-smileys\/twemoji\/2\/72x72\/1f642.png\" alt=\"&#x1f642;\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Or just turn up on the day and be helpful <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s0.wp.com\/wp-content\/mu-plugins\/wpcom-smileys\/twemoji\/2\/72x72\/1f642.png\" alt=\"&#x1f642;\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>  <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/feeds.wordpress.com\/1.0\/gocomments\/nottinghambi.wordpress.com\/962\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/feeds.wordpress.com\/1.0\/comments\/nottinghambi.wordpress.com\/962\/\" \/><\/a> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/pixel.wp.com\/b.gif?host=nottinghambi.wordpress.com&#038;blog=39895539&#038;%23038;post=962&#038;%23038;subd=nottinghambi&#038;%23038;ref=&#038;%23038;feed=1\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two events for Saturday 23 September 2017.
