August Talky Space

Our talky space meeting on Wednesday saw more than a dozen of us talk about things like being bi and having others decide they ‘know’ your true identity better than you, or the challenge of being trans and bi when people don’t get that those two things are a coincidence not causally linked. We looked forward to a bunch of upcoming Prides, and talked about our historic banner collection. We also had the sad and frustrating news that a theft has cost us about £100 that had been fundraised for the group through pin-badge sales at events. This is a shame ahead of our 30th birthday, but there is still enough in the kitty for the replacement banner we need ahead of Bi Visibility Day.
