Marriage and Civil Partnerships: Not Quite The Same Thing

With a hat-tip to the Neue Politik blog, this is a good succinct video about some of the differences for people in the UK between marriage and our system of Civil Partnerships. The talk's all about lesbians and gay men, but of course this is an issue t...

Friends, Let’s Get Better Together?

On Wednesday I was at the "Speaker's/Signer's Corner" event organised by Kairos. I'd not heard of the event before they invited me to speak there, and very much enjoyed the evening. The format is that there are presentations followed by discussions aro...

In Defense of Barsexuals and Faux-Mos

Last weekend was Pink Training! Which was wonderful, because I got the chance to give a couple of awesome workshops (Bi Awareness and a bi space) and spend time with some of the fantasticest people in the country. It also meant that I got way too little sleep and DEFINITELY had no peace ‘n’ quiet…

A Tale Of Three Cities. Made Of Cola.

On the train into work, I asked my wife suddenly "What's the third cola?"I explained that I was trying to come up with an analogy for bisexual invisibility. Some people assume everyone they see is straight, unless they look gay. Others would look aroun...

LGF’s Homo Heroes – will we get a bi winner?

Following on from my previous post, the nominations were counted and voting is now underway for the Homo Heroes [here].I'm stunned I made it through, though note with some amusement I'm up against Sir Ian McKellern. I doubt I'll win that fight! Other b...

Welcome to BiBloggers.

This is a 'blog aggregator' site, bringing together blogs about bisexual themes by writers across the UK & Ireland, with the aim of fostering a sense of a bisexual blogging community

Join the bi bloggers blogroll - it's quite easy, if you're writing about bi life in the UK & Ireland then just drop us a line.

(please note we're not looking for explicit content to add to the roster - we want to allow people to carry on reading this site at work or the library)
We used to be on Twitter but it's now awful

Site Backstory:

BiBloggers was launched in September 2010 following a bisexual blogging workshop at the 10th International Conference on Bisexuality in London, UK.

Jen Yockney brought the idea of a site that shared bi blogs to the workshop and a couple of weeks later, with hosting from BiMedia.org, the site was born.
