In November we are varying from the usual bi agenda pattern, with the normal "first Tuesday" social-support meeting (albeit over Zoom) but then no Sunday hangout - so our second evening meet of the month will be on the 17th.More here.

Bisexual Visibility is important. Over the past few weeks I’ve seen so many pics on Insta of bisexual folk, and that’s great! Except the people in them are overwhelmingly whyte, thin, and very young. So this year I’d like to remind youse that bi+ folks are DIVERSE! We exist all around the world, in every ethnicity and race, in every age group, gender, disability, body size, and any other variant you choose. Happy #BiVisibilityDay to all of us! Yoooo it’s Bisexual Visibility Day! I’m here, I’m BLACK, I’m a WOMAN, I’m a SURVIVOR, I’m a TEACHER, I’m a MOM, I’m a DAUGHTER, I’m a FRIEND, I’m a WIFE, and I’m a HUMAN who happens to be BISEXUAL. [I also think I’m a singer.] . . My point is we are just as human as anyone else around here. . . For my Bisexual brothers and sisters who are not yet “out” publicly, you don’t HAVE to be. I love you, I see you, and I celebrate you! . . For my Bisexual brothers and sisters who are inching their way into being open publicly, I’m sending you a virtual hand to hold through the process baby! I know it’s not easy. I am #nonbinary. I am #bisexual. I am #Black. Yes all those things can exist in one person! I’m the only one who gets to decide how to identify. I long ago stopped debating with people who wanted to argue about which word to use: Bisexual or #Pansexual. The vast majority of these arguments are a derailing tactic, which are #biphobic, #panphobic and #transphobic all at the same time. These arguments are led by folks who rarely give a toss about us. The word #Lesbian used to mean (and still does sometimes) a person who was born in Lesbos Greece. Most folks can appreciate that language changed over time & are fine with the word Lesbian as a sexual orientation. The same goes for #Gay, which used to mean Happy. Again, language changed over time. Folks are fine with using the word Gay as a sexual orientation. The word #bi used to only mean two. Suddenly the whole bloody #monosexual world wants to scream that we should call ourselves something else. Language changes over time, but it seems the irrational fear, hatred and avoidance of bisexuals do not. So if you want to look like a jackass, please go right ahead and use that hateful argument – it’s a great warning for the rest of us that we should avoid you entirely. #HappyBiVisibilityDay everyone! Don’t be a jackass. #BiPride #BlackBisexualLivesMatter
